Can't say enough good things about Ryan and his program. Great classroom instruction, with a comprehensive education from the legal perspective, all the way to the fundamentals of drawing, live fire, and everything in between. Went over everything that you'd want to learn from a class, firearm selection, maintenance, case studies, legalities, and marksmanship/best practices. There are a lot of folks out there that have classes that go over the very basics and do not include anywhere near the same level of structure or education and training.

UPDATE: I took my concealed carry renewal class with PTP (specifically Ryan Gass) 3/5/23. As I have mentioned previously, these guys know they’re stuff! I drove an hour and twenty minutes to stick with PTP training because they are THE BEST! Ryan teaches with complete knowledge, humor, and the utmost respect for his students. I cannot stress enough how patient he is. He is NEVER condescending and always makes you feel very comfortable asking any and all questions. From the classroom to the range, safety is their main priority. I will continue to further my education and will choose PTP every time. Additionally, I cannot thank Ryan enough for helping me to finally comprehend how to use the eyesight on my handgun! That has been an ongoing struggle for me and he broke it down in a practical way that finally made sense to me and definitely helped better my shooting skills! I would also like to mention Connie and Amanda who work behind the scenes coordinating and answering emails in a very timely fashion and very thoroughly! Thank you Ryan and the entire PTP team for another exceptional experience! Looking forward to my next class! I love these guys! They know their stuff and are very patient. Additionally, they teach with a lot of humor to keep it interesting, and make safety top priority. I have taken the women only hql class and the MD conceal and carry class. As a result, I have been able to knowledgeably purchase a handgun and successfully obtain my collectors license and my conceal/carry permits in Florida, Utah, and Maryland!! Ryan and his team are extremely patient and never condescending! They make you feel extremely comfortable and never rush you through any part of training. My only two suggestions would be a little more organization to avoid unnecessary downtime and a handout or 'booklet' as a takeaway to be able to study/review all of the information that is covered because it is a lot. Overall, I can't say enough good things! Thanks PTP, can't wait to sign up for another class!!
